Living Dayton Appearance

Clip from Living Dayton

My Living Dayton appearance today (Weds., Dec. 14th) went quite well, I think. I met some great people, including staff and interns, and got a chance to see how things work behind the scenes.

It was surprisingly fun to sit in front of the cameras and chat about my books. My interviewer, Shaun Kraisman, is one of three hosts of the show. He was a true professional: put me at ease, asked great questions, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Everyone there made me feel like family. I’m willing to do it again anytime the Living Dayton team would like to have me.

Special thanks to my friend, and PR specialist, Gery Deer of GLD Enterprises for putting this all together. He made me feel comfortable on the set and smoothed the way from the moment we (my wife Kristen and I) arrived at WDTN’s modern offices.

If you didn’t get a chance to catch the event live, you can see the recording here:

Enjoy, and I hope to see you at one of my book signings!

You’re quite welcome for the help, Carl. I certainly appreciate the work and you did really well today on Living Dayton. We’ll definitely have to bring you back again sometime!

Thanks, Gery. I would love to be back on the show. I have a short story collection coming out around Valentine’s Day and then a third “Apocalypse Love Story” in July. If you ever put together a panel of authors for the show, or want me to appear in whatever context (not just about me), I’m happy to do so.
